Eight Bells: [Action/Written]

[Luceti, Jack Sparrow now has drapes. They are lovely drapes, made of something like spiderweb silk and dyed a nice, neutral, manlyish color. The furniture and silver are both polished. There is even a new rug on the living room floor. Everything looks very home-ish.

Jack's clothes, on the other hand, are strewn all over the place, and every drop of dairy is badly curdled. Missing is a pair of trousers and Jack's Jolly Roger t-shirt.

Archie Kennedy comes dashing into town from the Cullen House wearing a pair of trousers and a Jolly Roger t-shirt. He'll make his way as quickly as is possible to his own apartment to get dressed properly so no one will suspect he spent the week with Jack--least of all Jack. He can be run into at any point.

After all this is accomplished and he's eaten something at Seventh Heaven that does not include porridge, honey, or cream, he will sit down to write this note.]

May I speak with a tailor in this town?

Spoiled milk everywhere, I'm afraid. Although it wasn't altogether unpleasant--he did very well for someone who clearly knew nothing about how to treat a faerie. How did you know it was me?

[At least, he doesn't recall revealing his identity as a tiny goblin. He'd been avoiding that.]

You didn't look at me like I was insane when you saw a very large dragon building a boat, which led me to presume that you knew about it in advance. That narrowed it down to about four people. And you knew my name - most people I knew didn't recognize me in that body.

There was the boat, yes. [Giles was the only person with an English accent who had been talking about building a boat, so he'd assumed.] You won't tell anyone I was a tiny, ugly brown man, will you?

Fine, for the most part. I made drapes out of spider's web. I didn't even know that could be done. Trouble is, the man whose clothing I stole could be anywhere, and I'd rather not be caught.

Well...anyone barging through and asking where a shirt with a skull and crossbones went, really. At least I didn't end up with a lady.

I meant staying with a lady, Giles. I could have ended up in worse.

I'm sure you could have. Someone could have taken it into their heads to try and eat you.

There were cats who tried. [And by his tone, PHAILED. Mostly because they were actually people in cat form who came to their senses in time.]

Cats and brownies have never gotten on.

Yes, you did. Brownies are handy like that, although I never knew one quite that enterprising.

I haven't heard of anything like it. I was bored. That house was desolate.

No. [Maybe.] But brownies are one of the few supernatural creatures back home that won't do humans grievous bodily harm at the first provocation. So of course I'd never spoken with one before.
