Buffy stared. It wasn't that the idea was new and it certainly wasn't that she hadn't already planned for...contingencies. What sobered her now was wondering whether owning up to those plans would somehow reach other ears. And not just Jack's.

And, of course, she had to wonder whether even Archie wouldn't plan his own plans. Would he, too, want to stop her? Her eyes narrowed.
